Netflix Top 10: These series and movies are being watched by everyone right now

The destruction of Chernobyl, a different hijacking, latin pulp by the creator of Casa de Papel and He-Man of Netflix.

Netflix had already become part of the daily lives of thousands of households, but in the year of the lockdown it gained even more place in our lives. Unfortunately the pandemic will eventually deprive us of some of our favorite series that had already been renewed, but the list goes on and on.

See below which Netflix subscribers are currently merging with the Top 10 movies and series in Greece:

# 10 Virgin River: Season 3

Engagement. Babies. Divorces. Murders. Although a small town, the Virgin River hides a lot of drama - and Mel Monroe is often at the center of it. If you like to immerse yourself here and there in series that are easily forgotten but can keep you in good company while emptying your brain at the same time, Virgin River is one of them. Everything has its use.

# 9 Masters of the Universe: Revelation Part 1

He-Man returns with the signature of Kevin Smith (Clerks) and takes the case right where the popular ‘80s series left it. The voices we will hear are from Chris Wood, Mark Hamill (Skeletor!) And Lena Headey, and the plot, according to Smith, will include "stories of abuse and isolation."

# 8 Sky Rojo 2

Three prostitutes, Coral (Verónica Sánchez), Wendy (Lali Espósito) and Gina (Yany Prado) escape from Romeo (Asier Etxeandia), their concubine, and the bravos of Moisés (Miguel Ángel Silvestre) and Christian (Enric Auquer). Together the women will embark on a frantic, chaotic journey in which they will have to face all kinds of dangers and live every second as if it were their last.

In this second round on Netflix, the three girlfriends begin their own pursuit against those who abused them. By the creator of Casa de Papel.

# 7 Never Have I Ever: Season 2

The feel-good hit of Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher had reached No. 1 on Netflix in over ten countries after its premiere and made Maitreyi Ramakrishnan a young star. It is a familiar story of adulthood through the eyes of a girl and a culture that is not only familiar to the general public of American series. Never Have I Ever kept a good balance between the youthful adventures of its central heroine, Devi, and the mourning of her family - she also managed to incorporate a flawless narrative by John McEnroe - so it remains to be seen if she can keep it this year. In the role of narrator this time we will listen to Gigi Hadid.

# 6 The Last Letter for Your Lover

A journalist, Ellie (Felicity Jones) discovers an enigmatic love letter in a forgotten newspaper archive, where a man (Callum Turner) appears to be asking his partner (Shailene Woodley) to abandon her husband (Joe Alwyn). Ellie becomes obsessed with the case of the two lovers and decides to find out if they ended up together, in an attempt to try to resurrect her career, which is in recession. If this couple found their happy ending, then maybe she could find hers too.

The film is based on the best-seller Jojo Moyes, one of the few writers to have twice won the Romantic Writers Association Award, and is directed by Augustine Frizzell. In addition to HBO's Euphoria pilot, Frizzell made her directorial debut with the stoner comedy Never Lookin 'Back, which was distributed by the Oscar-winning studio A24.

# 5 The Cook of Castamar

Spanish series about a widow Duke who begins to be interested in the talented young cook of his mansion. Sex, intrigue and panic attacks. A more boring Netflix Bridgerton, a century earlier.

# 4 Sex / Life

Sex / Life follows Billie, a wife and mother who just moved to the suburbs of Connecticut with her new husband, Cooper. As a former wild kid in New York, Billie sometimes recalls her past and especially sex with her ex. She decides to vent her thoughts in a diary that suddenly falls into the hands of her husband, but the developments are very different from the ones she feared. While believing that the diary could ruin her marriage, Cooper decides to take her past as a challenge, and the two begin a strange love triangle between Billie's sexual past and present.

The series is based slightly on B.B. Easton 44 Chapters About 4 Men and comes from the showrunner of the underrated UnReal, Stacy Rukeyser, who had even won a Peabody Award for her screenplay there. Netflix Sex / Life focuses on the female desire and the female gaze that is finally coming to compete with the male gaze on television.

# 3 The Good Doctor

The unexpected success of The Good Doctor proves once again that the public, although the genre no longer lives its old laurels, loves nothing more than an old, good, medical melodrama. Starring a doctor on the autism spectrum, Good Doctor was not just the biggest hit in the drama category that ABC had for years when it premiered in 2017. It was the biggest hit on American open television that fall season. Read our interview with Freddie Highmore below, protagonist and producer of the series:

# 2 Blood Red Sky

When a group of terrorists occupy a transatlantic flight overnight, a sick woman suffering from a mysterious disease is forced to unveil a monstrous secret to protect her young son. Relatively entertaining adventure by the screenwriter of Kyma (2008).

# 1 Chernobyl 1986

A Russian film about the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster, starring an anti-heroic firefighter with personal demons.
