The teaser does not reveal more about what led him to this situation, but maybe we will find out more when the full trailer of Casa de Papel is released on Monday, August 2nd.
The final season of the series will be shown in two parts: Five episodes on September 3 and another five on December 3. The previous four seasons of the series now stream on Netflix, starring Álvaro Morte, Úrsula Corberó, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, and Miguel Men. Periodorsula Corberó is currently starring in Snakes Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins screened in US theaters, alongside Henry Golding and Samara Weaving.
As for the Professor, in June 2020 Morte had made a not so optimistic prediction about his character.
Speaking at the Chelsea Film Festival about Casa de Papel, the actor said, "I know this comment will not please the world. Professor is a strange guy, a very lonely guy and whatever happened to the gang or the love he found, play a very small role in his life. If you want to talk about the end of the character, I believe that this will find him alone, in this life that he has chosen and he likes ".
