What is the story of Furies about?
Netflix provided the following synopsis for Furies:
Furies is a riveting tale of justice and vengeance set against the vivid backdrop of Saigon in the 1990s.
The film follows Bi, Thanh, and Hong, three fearless vigilantes who band together to bring down a dangerous crime organisation commanded by the evil crime lord Hai. As the team of assassins infiltrates the underground crime syndicate to exact retribution, viewers will question if they have been duped into becoming weapons of wrath.
Who is the cast of Furies?
Veronica Ngo will resume her role as Hai Phuong. Netflix customers who have seen the superhero action flick The Old Guard will recognise Ngo as Quynh. She has also appeared in Netflix films such as Bright, Da 5 Bloods, and Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny.
Dong Anh Quynh has the following to say about her part as Bi:
"Never in my life have I had to do this much physical training for a part. Emotionally, I forced myself to connect with the anti-hero and mentally tormented character that Bi is in order to best bring her to life on the screen."
Toc Tien has the following to say about her relationship with Thanh:
"Thanh is the eldest, always looking after her'sisters,' even though they are not biological siblings. Thanh guards them in silently, not with words but with acts. I can easily relate with Thanh because many of the characters' traits are similar to mine."
Rima Thanh Vy, who plays the "kind and hopeful" Hong, had the following to say about her experience with the character:
"Hong helped me get through a terrible time in my life. Hong provided me abundant love and strength to move forward and live a fuller life."
What is the duration of the film?
We can confirm that Furies has a running time of 109 minutes.
